The Ten Problem-Solving Devices Of The Christian Way Of Life
There is no problem that would ever occur in the Christian’s life that cannot be managed to a successful resolution by application through faith of one or more of these Ten Biblical Problem Solving Devices:
1. Confession of Sin: Nothing in the Christian way of life will work if the believer has unconfessed sin in their life. As per 1 John 1:9, we are commanded to confess our sins to God alone. This then brings about:
2. The Filling of the Holy Spirit: Mandated in Ephesians 5:18, every believer is ordered to execute God's plan by means of imputed divine power, never human energy.
3.The Faith-Rest Drill: Using the faith that the believer had to accept the grace gift of salvation, the believer can now claim some of the over 7000 promises made to the believer to give him courage, strength in God, and peace of mind. Remember, one cannot claim promises that they do not know, so Bible study is necessary to learn the promises as well as learn about the veracity and the righteousness of The God that makes the promises, for if the believer has no faith in the promises, they will be useless to him.
4. Grace Orientation: God loves you so much that He let His own perfect son be sacrificed with the imputation of ALL HUMAN SIN. If God loves you this much, how will he not freely give you all things necessary for your physical and spiritual life? All things are given to the believer in grace. Everything the believer can think of that he has is given by the grace of God.
5. Doctrinal Orientation: Bible studies again becomes necessary to the believer so he can adjust to the plan of God for his life and to be able to discern what is going on around him and make decisions from the perspective of the thinking of Christ.
6.Personal Sense Of Destiny: Salvation is faith alone in Christ alone. Once you are saved, you are always saved. Life in this world is but a blink of an eye. Once the believer adjusts to the true reality of his existence as a member of the Royal Family Of God, there is not much about life in the world that is worth worrying about. Remember the 11th commandment: "Thou Shall Not Sweat It".
7. Personal Love For God: As the believer gets more and more doctrine in their soul, the believer becomes aware of just how awesome God's love for us is, this brings about a reciprocal love from the believer to God as the believer begins to trust completely in the promises and provisions of Grace that God provides.
8. Unconditional Love For All Mankind: You can't have number 8 without first having number 7. This is possibly the hardest problem-solving device to enact. When people are rude, crass, hurtful, unjust, the believer must realize that they are either A) and Unbeliever who knows no better or B) a believer, possibly in reversion, possibly not having a lot of doctrine to utilize, but nevertheless a fellow member of the Royal family and therefore deserving of the privacy of their priesthood. In either case, the believer is mandated to give the situation up to God to deal with.
9. Sharing The Happiness Of God: The art of being happy no matter the circumstances. The Apostle Paul knew how to live in prosperity or poverty, and was happy in all circumstances. Number 9 and 10 are the purview of the spiritually mature believers.
10. Occupation with Christ: Maximum knowledge of doctrine, maximum application of doctrine, spiritually invincible in the sphere of the Devil's world.
Attainment of the more sophisticated realms of the spiritual life takes time, study, application of doctrine, and testing.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ provided all believers with the prototype Christian way of life, including the 8 "gates" of power, the spiritual mechanics, and the 10 problem-solving devices listed here.
Although Jesus never had to use problem-solving device number 1, confession of sin, as He remained sinless throughout the incarnation, and didn't have to use problem-solving device number 10, as He didn't have to have occupation with Himself, nevertheless He did use all of the rest of the problem-solving devices successfully. It was thus left to the Apostles to use, including devices 1 and 10, and then passed on to all believers in grace, a gift from God the Father.
It was God who had the plan, it was Christ who proved it workable, and it is the Holy Spirit who explains, and is the power source for, the Christian way of life.
